Silo.AI is the largest private AI services provider in the Nordics that builds customized human-centric AI solutions. Today, the company announces a funding round of €10 million to build out its platform and expand its team to execute on the path to become the European flagship AI company. The funding allows Silo.AI to further develop both its delivery platform and surrounding ecosystem with the objective to help more companies build AI solutions. The funding descends partly from angel investors and partly from Business Finland.
Founded in 2017, Silo.AI has quickly grown into a team of 40 world-class AI experts who build end-to-end customizable AI solutions and work as AI consultants within client teams. Most of the team has an academic background with significant scientific contributions in the field. Altogether Silo.AI has delivered more than 100 AI projects and built an intelligent automation platform with infrastructure for development, integration and deployment of AI solutions, allowing AI experts to focus on developing solutions rather than enabling software.

We see the AI market as a service market, in which the largest share of value derives from tailoring solutions to client requirements. The funding will allow us to accelerate our expansion to the European market, says Peter Sarlin, CEO and Co-founder of Silo.AI.
As part of the funding round, Silo.AI is part of the Business Finland Growth Engine program that is awarded to companies that will have a significant positive and sustainable effect on the society. With the Growth Engine funding Silo.AI will extend its delivery platform and ecosystem, as well as accelerate efforts in connecting AI experts and technology partners with customer needs.

With its platform and ecosystem, Silo.AI will serve large companies in scaling their AI efforts, smaller companies that can’t afford to invest into their own AI development, AI expert companies that find it difficult to expand their business abroad, and research organizations. This will improve the way training data, AI models, expertise and services are delivered to customers, with the aim of creating customized business solutions to small and large organizations in Europe.
