Keynote: Innovation 360° – How Finland can become the next leader in the platform economy

Last week our CEO Tero Ojanperä gave a keynote at Tech Day Finland, an Alma Media event for industry-leaders, politicians and decision-makers at Musiikkitalo. The goal of the event was to formulate technology guidelines and targets to propose to the future government. Tero's speech focused on how artificial intelligence can create new kind of platform business, treating particularly the Finnish perspective. According to Tero, it is important that humans stay at the core of the creation and use of AI systems: human expertise is the most important asset for any company. However, by creating a platform, everyone can get access to the shared knowledge of the human experts, and as a consequence, the AI system behind that platform can learn from that expertise and get better at helping the humans.The 16-minute talk includes examples of successful transformation into a global platform by thinking about business in a strategic, AI and data-driven way as well as thought-provoking reflections on how we can do this in Finland.
