Roope Suomalainen joins Silo AI to drive long-term partnerships for smart devices and networks

We’re thrilled to have Roope Suomalainen join us as part of our Business Development team. At Silo AI, Roope will be looking after business development particularly within the telecommunications and media sectors. Companies dealing with the most complex AI challenges can count on Roope to create a long-term prolific partnership to solve the challenges of tomorrow with Silo AI.

Roope has 15+ years of experience in building global digital businesses, constantly looking for possibilities to take advantage of new technologies. During his career, Roope has worked with global partnerships and business development, enabling companies to succeed in becoming smarter and more efficient through advanced technologies. From his experience, Roope has gained excellent skills in challenging the current status quo and helping his clients refine opportunities to create new digital businesses.

Roope joins Silo AI from Fujitsu, where he focused on building a global partnership with Nokia around IoT and 5G. His other sales and business development experience covers several managing positions at Digitalist and Ixonos, where he worked with global clients and successfully managed a team on three continents. Roope has also co-founded an online event service Eventz.today. Before turning into a digital professional, Roope made his merits in Olympic sailing.

To Roope, building the future business is a combination of understanding and finding a balance between business viability, technical feasibility, and desirable user experience. In addition to external variables and the environment, being successful requires courage and persistence to navigate and lead through the barriers of change.
